Bus Station Refurbishment - Temporary Stand Allocations

Lancaster Bus Station
  UPDATE:  The Bus Station will re-open to all services on Friday, 18th August and all services will revert to their normal routes in the city centre.

From Monday 24 July, Lancaster Bus Station will undergo a six-week refurbishment. During this time departure stands of services at the bus station will need to be changed and some services will be relocated to the City Centre.
Departures for southbound services will move to the City Centre:
Some buses will start at
Chapel Street and call at
Dalton Square.
Service 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 4 to Bowerham, Hala and The University will use Chapel Street and Dalton Square instead of the bus station and will not pick up at George Street or Common Garden Street.
Service 40 and 41 to Garstang and Preston will use Chapel Street and Dalton Square instead of the bus station and will not pick up at George Street or Common Garden Street.
Service 42 to Garstang and Blackpool will use Chapel Street and Dalton Square instead of the bus station and will not pick up at George Street or Common Garden Street.

Others will use
Common Garden Street.
Service 9 to Bowerham via Primrose will use Common Garden Street instead of the Bus Station and will not pick up at George Street.
Service 10 to  Ridge will start from Common Garden Street instead of the Bus Station and will not pick up at George Street.
Service 11 to the Marsh will start from Common Garden Street instead of the Bus Station.
Service 89 / 89H to Knott End-on-Sea will start from Common Garden Street instead of the Bus Station and will not pick up at George Street.
The above arrangemnets will apply throughout the period of the works.

All other services are now using their normal departure stands in the bus station.
